A very important poll follows. If you're not a student at CMU and you've never visited, you can probably ignore it.

[Poll #932954]

I only said CFA for the first question because of the creepy abandoned bits. If you stick to the well populated areas its not bad at all.

I chose Roberts for creepiest because, apart from the fact that nobody's ever there, the windows along the outside where the back balcony is remind me of that Scene in Serenity where they find all the bodies on Miranda and I always expect to see corpses in there. But maybe I'm just a freak.

It's interesting that creepiness doesn't exactly correlate with head-crab likeliness. I picked two different buildings for the two different questions, yet they're both the ones with the most votes. What prompted the survey?

The copy editor in me feels compelled to point out that there's only one "m" and a "c" in "Hamerschlag" -- the word a good example of an instant red flag in editing at The Tartan. :-)

You forgot PolandTepper!

I think I'd have to go with Posner for creepy, though it wasn't an option.

Hammerschlag is definitely reminiscent of a FPS, but Wean, the basement levels of Doherty, and the sound proof/mezzanine areas of CFA definitely qualify as well.

For the second question. Two words:
Performance Art.

Am I really the first to say NSH for headcrab? Catacombs, people! :-9
