It's interesting that creepiness doesn't exactly correlate with head-crab likeliness. I picked two different buildings for the two different questions, yet they're both the ones with the most votes. What prompted the survey?
The copy editor in me feels compelled to point out that there's only one "m" and a "c" in "Hamerschlag" -- the word a good example of an instant red flag in editing at The Tartan. :-)
Every Tuesday/Thursday morning, I have a class in one of the Hamerschlag B-level lecture halls, and I often take the super-sekrit close-to-Wean-hall entrance into C level. It always creeps me out, though, because Hamerschlag has hallways going everywhere (I still don't know where half of them go to), and with the all the pipes and machinery and even doors used I feel like I'm walking through a level of Half-Life.
Also, I think I've always misspelled that, but I will henceforth spell it correctly. Thanks. :)
Yes, Hamerschlag was definitely my choice for creepiest building because of its insane hallway layout. I've gotten in there before, on B level or C level, and actually been unable to find my way out again without wandering corridors and trying to follow confusing exit signs.
