Web Hosting

So I think I'm just gonna give up on Cox now... considering that I'm only going to be in NOVA for another 8-ish months anyway, there's really no point trying to argue my way into it (or at least not much), so I should probably find a web host. Anybody out there know of any good hosts, preferably with the following options:

- LAMP based (linux, apache, mysql, php)
- Plenty of disk base (100's of megs, and cheap) - disk space is really cheap nowadays, it annoys me how so many places charge so much still
- Reliable host!
- Unique ip address
- Multiple domain names with little/no charge
- Staff actually know what they're doing
- Allows me to have off-site dns and such
- IMAP w/ SSL (if I ever want to move mail off of trinity)
- Preferably, bandwidth isn't too expensive (I expect this to be the most expensive part)
- Not too expensive
- SSH access
- Debian linux preferred (shows that they actually do know what they're doing.)

Any recommendations?

I use rackforce for a dedicated server. They'll install debian or redhat, and I think they do redhat virtual hosting, where they give you a pseudo-changeroot (you can't install daemons) for reasonable price. LAMP, great support, different bandwidth levels (ded T1 unlimited is base, only problem is it's 1.5Mbps, they'll give you upto a 1Gb connection to the internet, you just have to pay as you go bandwidth, but I stay with the slow connection). If you want I can give you an account on my box for a little while 'til you get things straightened out.

3 years for free, and no obligations. It sounds a bit fishy, but I've had friends do it and they weren't even asked for a credit card. You're just asked for your address, but looks like you can just fill in a fake one.

But, you have to sign up before january 21th 2004
