OldJournal: brain == hurting

jgraftonOi, glad it's friday (actually, saturday, now) as I am SO tired (perhaps you saw yesterday's post prior to deletion). Today seemed SOOO long, probably due to pep band and all. Lots and lots of stuff happened, some fun, some weird, and some just, well... My brain really hurts, due to the combination of lack of sleep, overworking (mentally and physically), and "other things." I won't be discussing the "other things" as they are highly personal, and this, being a non-personal script, is not the place to record them. I also don't want to expose some things that may haunt me later; perhaps I will record them when I know all is safe.
I may as well start out with the weird. Today was a marching band spirit day, namely "Dress-up Day." I did indeed dress up, but this was not the culmination of weirdness. We went on further to try and have all of pit where the headbands from the winter dl show 2 years ago; only 3 could be found, however, so the freshmen were headband-less. I have probably lost any dignitity I may have ever had, as not simply dressing up and wearing the headband made me look weird enough; combined, they were basically exponential. But, I go to TJ, and all of us there are weird. It's just the way it is. Who knows how this will effect some things...
Pep band today was great. It is really really really fun to make up, er, improvise cymbal music on the fly. Too bad we lost, but I don't expect much of us anyway. It was pretty boring, except for the music playing, world-problem-pondering, and "other things." After the game we marched out; percussion played the old cadence. This was the first time I had ever played anything and marched; not only that, this was the OLD CADENCE! That was cool, even if I was clueless as to what I was doing.
That's about it for now, I gotta go catch up on some missing sleep. That, and think. Think long and hard.
