OldJournal: an interesting day has passed, and yet another awaits

Perhaps I'll start with the past. Today my hum went down to Poplar Forest, to the archaelogical site. We spent 3.5 hours going down, and 3.5 hours coming back, leaving us about 3 hours to stay there, minus 30 minutes for lunch. In other words, we actually "did" something for only 2.5 hours...and it was pretty pointless. I got to go in the lab (oh, yay...) and write really small numbers on an artifact, then sort out some artifacts. That was SO MUCH FUN! Then, I got to go on a tour of Thomas Jefferson's retreat; that was ok, though I still don't understand why they wouldn't even allow non-flash photography? Are they that strapped for money or something? Oh well. The day was pretty boring, and consisted of mostly movie-watching.

Tomorrow looks like it's gonna be interesting/weird/really really really strange. I can't say why now, but I will say soon enough. ;-) Good night.
