jgraftonYAY! We got 4th out of 6 at JMU with a score of 85.something. It was our best performance this year, best ever at JMU, and we didn't get last! We didn't get any awards besides the 4th place trophy, but that's ok. We felt really good, and some of the bands against whom we were competing were really really serious. Of course the JMU Royal Dukes were awesome, just like they always were. It was fun.
During some of the non-playing-times, I discovered many weird things relating to my middle-school years. For one, Ryan and I realized that one of the freshmen had been competing against us in a contest when we were in 8th grade, she in 7th. Also weird was that I discovered that both Vicky and Amanda (from pit) went to Lake Braddock; furthermore, Amanda had been on the same two teams I had been on, so she knew all the teachers I had had. That was pretty weird, kinda brought back memories of middle school. Anyway, I'm rambling, time to go do hw.
