OldJournal: three learnings
Oct. 23rd, 2001 12:03 amI forgot to mention these the other day, but over the weekend I learned some very essential things to remember:
1. Riding the frosh bus should be taken with caution. Although it's generally okay, bad things can happen (see the Bus Stories) and frosh are (no offense to any frosh) stereotypically hyper. This doesn't apply to all freshmen; probably those in TJMC are more hyper than those not; and girls in pit...well, that brings me to my next learning.
2. Pit changes any freshmen, especially freshmen girls. Christine has become sassy, Vicky has only gotten louder, and Amanda has changed the most: she was once a quiet, sane person; on Saturday night, she was anything but that. Somehow pit has a magical influence that makes all freshmen who enter into its realm crazy. By sophmore year everyone's normal again.
3. Never EVER fall asleep and forget to remove star stickers from your face. It's never fun to have to try and remove the stars later after they have bonded firmly and a layer of skin is starting to grow over them.
That's about all for now. I gotta get some sleep; I'm dead tired, and I have a very "fun" mission ahead of me. Good night (or morning, as the case may be.)
