OldJournal: yay/nay

Well, the past few days have been so-so...today was actually pretty good though. I had too tests I've been worrying about for a while, but I think I did well on both of them (yay). After school I went down to Subway w/ Jenny, Rachel, and Rob (2 other frosh), which was cool. It was the usual long-walkish-thing of going down to Bradlick, but I didn't have a car or anyone to drive me anywhere and get back by 5, so this was the only option (nay). When I got back, I got a brief tutorial on 4-mallet playing (I can sorta do it now! yay!), then had WDL practice till 10. At 10 I went to the sochop and joined Jenny...the dance itself was ok but all they played was rap (nay). They played only one non-rap song the entire night - a slow song - thankfully I was there when they played it. I have no clue what it was, it was something I've never heard before, but at least I got to dance with Jenny for the first time in almost 2 months. And I got the impression this same dj is coming back for Rob the Cradle (nay).

Which brings in my next point. I'm worried about WDL competitions/practices conflicting with dances...we are gonna have a practice the 11th of Jan, same day as Rob the Cradle, but I'm hoping pit will be exempt from that one. Also, it's likely that we're going to Hylton HS in PW county on the 6th of February for a competition; same day as the VDay dance. All I can hope is that the competition will be early (nay). This about rounds up the yays and nays of the day. Oi.
