OldJournal: jour numéro deux
Dec. 29th, 2001 06:32 pmEntry number 2, "live" from London... It was my first full day here, and my body is finally beginning to adjust! I must admit, however, that the food here is so-so. I personally liked band camp food better, but that's just me. It shocks me how much drinking and smoking there is here in London... Pubs are everywhere, as are cigarette billboards. And of course, the smell of smoke is often present outside. On the up side, we took a tour of London and Greenwich today. I got lotsa pictures (soon to appear on zenith) and I stood in the north and western hemispheres at the same time. That was fun. Then, after dinner, we took a tour/learned about Jack the Ripper. Also interesting.
On another note, I hope Jenny made it out of Buffalo before the snow hit - I hear now that there are 90" on the ground. If she's still there, that's gotta suck. Anyway, that's about enough for now. Time to sleepify.
