I am able to sit on a side of the Underground, nipping away at my chocolate cake whilst I type away on my laptop [mmm, homework] and listen to live music.

But yeah, CMU is nice. An' you can't beat Craig street. Except that you can. But for the whole "two minutes away by foot" thing, it's quite nice.

I'm going to apply. of course, though, the city with the most applicants to CMU is [reputably] Pittsburgh itself. And CMU likes to be a bit more diverse than that. So a native Pittsburgher is at quite a severe handicap. And besides, I'm white, I'm male, and I don't play the bagpipes (to those not familiar with CMU, yes, playing the bagpipes is a perk). That's like three big strikes against me right there. So I guess I'll just have to settle for UPenn or something, since there's no way in hell an ivy'll touch me with my 3.45ish weighted GPA.
