They didn't read my history *at all*. If they had, they would've realized that the OS has absolutely no effect on this issue.
Ugh, such stupidity. What do I have to do to get past the techs who just read off of the cards?

Date: 2004-10-20 06:13 am (UTC)Tuum, Cato, Amo!
Adieu to he I loved so much
I miss thy face, thy soul, thy touch
Sweet memories we shared together
Good times through bright and stormy weather
Alas! Now all your data's gone
No more processes shall you spawn
Forever I'll cherish the day we met
I remember each man, each apt-get
My ears still ring with the last beeps thou spoke
Just days before thy hard drive broke
If only thou wouldst just restart
My love, we'd never have to part
Dear Cato, I shall love thee forever!
The bonds between us I shan't sever
I have no more need to mope
For now I feel renewed with hope
Again we shall soon discuss new topics
As soon as I reinstall Knoppix
