The moon is full and low and orange and pretty tonight.

Get off your terminal and go look - this doesn't happen so often!

Edit: I took pictures, though since my camera doesn't have the most uber of optical zooms, some cropping will be necessary. As I still have no laptop, however, I lack the GIMP, and I don't feel like installing it here. Furthermore, I think that using Paint to crop images is, well, sacrilegious. Hence no photos tonight.

Moon pictures are hard to take without a tripod. I tried last semester (with my 10X zoom) and they all ended up blurry (and setting the shutter speed quicker results in very dark photos).
Yay pictures?

I hate to say it, but I think cropping photos is really all that Paint is possibly acceptable to use for...

I mean, really, what do you think people should do with it? Draw Pattis-esque diagrams...? *shudder*

You obviously havn't seen Dan's amazing Paint artwork. And I've seen some great drawings that people did in Paint :-P
You can see some at Dan's site (linked to from my site, I forget the exact URL). It's not mind-blowingly good, but it's good enough :)

You can draw fanart of your favorite idolized friends, like at http://tjhsst.edu/~lhsu/deason/fanart.html . (Even though that was technically done in GIMP, the same thing could have been done in paint just as easily. Not sure if that last one was in paint, though.)
